If you are looking for beautiful, violet, star-shaped flowers then look no further than this new Pentas hybrid seed. Ideal in a hot, sunny location, Pentas will grow into 12 inch tall mounds of violet flowers.
Pentas are a 12 inch tall perennial flower growing in USDA zones 9 - 11.
Very striking in the garden or as a container plant. Its hybrid genetics ensures uniformity of plant habit and bloom time, and less need for growth regulators.
The Pentas flower is one of the best for attracting butterflies to your landscape. Fill your flower borders and containers with Pentas Graffiti violet flowers which grow on compact, uniform plants. Pentas flowers are rich in nectar and are in flat umbels making them perfect for butterflies to land on and enjoy.
Sowing Rate: 4 - 5 seeds per plant. Use a quality seed starting mix and press the flower seeds into the mix. Do not cover the Star Flower seeds. Place clear plastic or glass over the starter tray or pots to help hold in moisture. Keep the flower seeds moist but not saturated. Place the trays in a south facing, sunny window for germination.
