The plant is somewhat bushy, reaching 36 inches in height and 20 inches in width. This variety of Mallow needs at least 6 hours of direct sun each day. It is native to the area surrounding the Mediterranean. Deadhead the spent blooms to encourage a longer bloom time.
Sowing Rate: 2 - 3 seeds per plant. The seed benefits from a cold treatment. Place seed in the refrigerator for 21 days before sowing. Start the seed outdoors in the spring after danger of frost has passed. Prepare a seedbed and press 3 – 4 seeds into the soil and cover with 1/8 inch of soil.
